(Rhinoplasty and/or Septoplasty)
Books and thousands of articles have been written about rhinoplasty. It is impossible to cover the subject here. Basically, rhinoplasty is the modification of the bony, cartilaginous, and soft tissues of the external and internal nose to reconstruct a damaged nose, to cosmetically improve the appearance of the nose, or to functionally improve breathing. There are numerous variations in these basic components of the nose and numerous ideas of what an individual perceives what their nose looks like and what they want it to look like. So, this seemingly simple statement “I want my nose to look smaller or better” involves a complex decision process and delicate and sometimes complex procedures. It can take 6 to 18 months before the final results are known. Dr. Borkowski will take the time needed to address your concerns, review the risks, and, importantly, give you an idea of the reasonable results to be expected
